Alex Alberto

they/them/elle

Alex is a queer and polyamorous storyteller and educator. They grew up in Montreal and currently live in upstate New York, where they’re building a farm and retreat program. Their essays have been published in Huffington Post, Write or Die Magazine, and elsewhere, and their plays have been featured at Dixon Place and Theatre Row in New York City. They received a 2023 Delaware County Arts Grant, a New York State Council on the Arts regrant program, to teach creative nonfiction to LGBTQIA+ folks in Upstate NY.

Alex’s genre-blending memoir, titled Entwined: Essays on Polyamory and Creating Home, will be published by Quilted Press in February 2024.

Caroline Shannon

she/her

Caroline Shannon is a queer writer, mother, and educator. Her writing lives at the intersection of motherhood and mental health and has resulted in bylines at The Cut, Narratively, DAME, Catapult, Vice, and other publications. She is an educator and currently an MFA candidate in Antioch University’s creative writing program. Caroline lives in Pittsburgh with her daughter and beloved cats.

Caroline’s memoir, titled Mother-Eaten: Notes on My Postpartum Body and Identity, will be published by Quilted Press in September 2024.

K.G. Strayer

they/them

K.G. Strayer is a transmasc nonbinary writer and artist from Kalamazoo, Michigan and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They have an MFA in poetry from The University of Pittsburgh. They write and live across genre, often as a barista by day. Their poems have appeared in Yemassee Journal and Carve Magazine, with new work forthcoming in Jelly Bucket and Superstition Review.

K.G.’s memoir, titled Stellar Nursery: On My (Trans) Body and My Choice, will be published by Quilted Press in February 2024.
